Cows at the Stile

About the design

For the walker who's conquered mountains… but still isn't sure about the cows.

Deep in the hills, past the old stone barn and the big oak, our walker reaches the stile in the dry-stone wall, and freezes. On the other side, four cows stand shoulder to shoulder, staring him down and blocking the path completely. Beyond them, the fingerpost points the way, a little footbridge crosses the stream and a bench waits for the walk that may never happen. Lilac mountain peaks and pine forest rise behind, with the whole scene reflected in the still lake below. The design wraps all the way round the mug in slate blues and soft lilac, with their name in the sky above: "[Name]'s Hiking Mug".
