About the design

For the angler who's so focused on the line, they haven't noticed what's happening to the catch.

Down at the harbour, our angler sits at the end of the pier, rod out, eyes on the water… while a cheeky seagull helps itself to the fish from his bucket. Around them: the lighthouse on the harbour wall, fishing boats with their masts up, stacked lobster pots, a bollard and coiled rope, and a row of little fishermen's huts, with chalky cliffs rising behind and the whole scene reflected in the still harbour water. The design wraps all the way round the mug in navy, teal and soft sea blues, with their name in the sky above: "[Name]'s Fishing Mug".
