Otter Lake Jetty Scene

About the design

For the angler who's up before dawn, sits by the water for nine hours, and comes home to tell you about the one that got away.

An otter in a flat cap and wax jacket stands proudly at the end of the jetty, holding up his catch (we'll let him tell you how big it was). Around him, a heron watches from the reeds, a rowing boat waits on the bank, the rods are out by the bivvy, and the tackle box, chair and landing net are all ready to go. Pine-covered hills rise behind, and the whole scene is reflected in the still lake below. The design wraps all the way round the mug in black and soft greys, with their name in the sky above: "[Name]'s Fishing Mug".
